We met Tessa at an open house she was hosting on Maple Beach in Point Roberts. My wife and I are part owners of a Maple beach cabin but had been looking around for past few years to purchase our own. Tessa was very informed about the area and issues that faced residents of Maple Beach specifically around septic field and building code / instillation issues we were likely to come across in the purchase of a new cabin and possible sale of our existing cabin. She provided detailed examples of recent sales and comparable to come up with a price range that I completely agreed with. The home that caught our interest was a “For Sale by Owner”. Tessa contact the owner, arranged showings, dug up relevant details and negotiated a price that fell within our valuation of the property with a owner that after our original offer was unwilling to negotiate.
